    Sabrina Praduroux currently is Assistant Professor in Comparative Law at the Department of Law of the University of Torino, Italy, and Visiting Scholar at the American University Washington College of Law, USA. Her main scientific interests concern issues related to the protection of fundamental rights in the private law sphere and especially the question on how the protection of human rights interacts with the regulation of market economies, and can lead to more inclusive and just societies.

    After graduating in law in Italy, and obtaining a PhD there, she obtained a second PhD from the University of Helsinki, Finland, working at the Centre of Excellence in Foundations of European Law and Polity. Her formation includes training and working periods spent at both the European Court of Human Rights and the European Agency for Fundamental Rights. She has been regularly invited to teach university courses in Italy, and has some teaching experience abroad as well. In 2014, she obtained the national qualification to become an associate professor in Italy.
