Durban University of Technology (DUT) – RPA. Nominations for academic staff to serve on Advisory Boards

Durban University of Technology (DUT) – RPA. Nominations for academic staff to serve on Advisory Boards

Durban University of Technology (DUT) is seeking academics, researchers and experts to join faculty and departmental advisory boards.

In a recent comprehensive review, our Centre for Quality Promotion and Assurance found that academic departments at Durban University of Technology could strengthen their academic programme offerings by internationalising their advisory boards. This can assist in keeping up with the skills and knowledge required by industries in South Africa and abroad, as well as to enable DUT to develop adaptive graduates. The international members of the advisory boards could also contribute positively to innovative and internationalised curriculum.

We are in the process of identifying candidates for our faculty and departmental advisory boards among our international partners.

DUT’s academic advisory boards meet typically twice a year. For your academics, researchers and experts, being on a DUT academic advisory board would provide them with a platform and an opportunity to engage with academics, colleagues and industry leaders from South Africa and other parts of the world and provide their input and expertise. At the same time, they will be able to engage with colleagues from DUT and industry partners, and learn about the academic and other developments, processes and projects.
