ADMINISTRATIVE LAW AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT LAW

The programme covers 14 subjects. Students will learn about the most important issues of law and jurisprudence which are a foundation of knowledge necessary for the understanding of legal measures regulated by laws and for the understanding of administrative procedure, civil law and procedure and labour law that are used in practice in central and local administration. The postgraduate study programme is complemented by a detailed and specialist subject matter.


ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3

The programme will equip students with knowledge about Polish legal measures for running an economic activity involving looking after children under the age of three and it will also give them soft skills related to managing nursery staff. Graduates will leave with new or improved qualifications for starting and running an economic activity that involves providing childcare for children under three, health and safety rules applicable to such activity, first aid to toddlers, preparation of formal documents necessary to provide childcare correctly and also applying for EU funds.


OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

The programme’s core covers all elements necessary for employment in the OSH sector. The study programme includes 13 subjects (200 class hours in total). The programme’s concept envisages a combination of knowledge, skills and social competence. Students will acquire, expand or refresh their knowledge about occupational health and safety and at the same time they will acquire, expand or adjust their skills in the practical application of this knowledge.


SOCIAL INSURANCE – LEGAL ASPECTS

Students will learn about the most important issues in the structure of the social insurance system, according to laws in force. The programme’s concept envisages a combination of knowledge, skills and social competence. Postgraduate students will acquire, expand or refresh their knowledge about the social insurance system and at the same time they will acquire, expand or adjust their skills in the practical application of this knowledge. The study programme includes 16 subjects (204 class hours in total).


EDUCATION LAW

The study programme includes 22 subjects (181 class hours in total). Students will learn about the most important issues of education law. The programme’s concept envisages a combination of knowledge, skills and social competence. The programme includes thematic modules designed to be of interest to persons employed in education, representatives of unions and persons looking to work in education management or to run their own educational activity.


CONSUMER LAW IN PRACTICE

This postgraduate programme comes as a response to increasing awareness of consumer rights. The innovative and proprietary study programme will provide postgraduate students with knowledge and skills that will allow them to face challenges of legal protection of consumers in professional life. How to file a complaint? What to avoid in contracts with consumers and what to include in them? What to keep an eye for in advertising directed at consumers? Answering such questions will be a walk in the park for our graduates.


PENAL ECONOMIC AND FISCAL LAW

The programme offers knowledge about Polish regulations on conducting penal and penal fiscal proceedings. It develops skills for detecting and combating economic and fiscal crime. Graduates will gain or boost their qualifications in substantive and procedural tax law, including personal and corporate tax audits, substantive and procedural penal law with a particular focus on economic and fiscal crime.


PUBLIC PROCUREMENT

Students will acquire or boost their qualifications in the following areas: use of basic terminology in public procurement law, obligation to apply public procurement law, relationship of public procurement law with other law branches, rules for awarding public contracts, procedures for awarding public contracts, parties to proceedings in public procurement, preparation of the contract awarding procedure, remedies in the public procurement system, inspection of awarding public contracts, public contracts, or liability for violation of public procurement law.
